From the rotunda with its original wooden rosette, its large chandelier with glass blades, and its convex mirror, one enters what used to be the boudoir, Madame’s bedroom, the private mansion’s dining room, and its winter garden.
Using the 1901 floor plans, we imagined the restaurant as a theatrical play, each room unfolding like a new act, all following the same narrative, with grand brass arches and mirror work symbolizing intermissions and transitions.
